Interoperability Roadshow
3 July 2012 | Brisbane
5 July 2012 | Sydney
6 July 2012 | Melbourne
13 July 2012 | Adelaide
17 July 2012 | Perth
The Rail Industry Safety & Standards Board (RISSB) has been tasked to complete a set of national Interoperability Standards for the Australian railway industry.
The rail industry is divided into many segments; for instance there are currently 12 organisations responsible for track management. This has led to duplication of practices and procedures, as they are, in many cases, acting in isolation. The RISSB recognises the need to facilitate the development of Industry based Standards to meet the need of the industry as a whole.
The scope of this Roadshow is to inform the rail industry about the development of the draft interoperability standard and to present interoperability case studies and experience to the industry.
It will be a good opportunity for you to come along and see why the future of our interoperability standard is vital for track managers, planners, operators and rolling stock manufacturers.
Free for all RISSB stakeholders and industry members to attend. However, registration is essential, maximum number is capped at each venue.
Expression of Interest is now open.
