Rail Safety Week

Rail Safety Week aims to educate Australian and New Zealand communities about rail safety.

Each year, major Rail Operators, Track Owners and Government Agencies conduct safety activities throughout New Zealand and Australia to educate local communities in how to behave safely at and around railways.

Rail Safety Week wil run from Monday 13 -  Sunday 19th August 2012. The focus for 2011 as expanded to include trespass- a growing concern for the Australasian rail industry.
