Protection Officer Safety Critical Communications

Course Overview

The ‘Protection Officer Safety Critical Communications’ course was developed due to Rail Transport Operators identifying the need to increase the amount of Safety Critical Communications (SCC) skills required for Protection Officers (PO) Track Force Protection Coordinators (TFPC) and/or Track Workers (TW) (collectively referred to as Rail Protection Workers). These Rail Protection Workers are required to identify and respond to operational information as part of their job role and may be working within a rail operational or infrastructure environment.

This training is specifically tailored to Rail Protection Workers who are:

• New to the Industry and have completed TLIF0008 Apply Safety Critical Communications in the rail environment
• Experienced Rail Protection Worker entering a new role or
• A Rail Protection Worker who is needing recertification/refresher training

To be deemed competent in this course you will need to correctly work your way through the knowledge check questions as well as completing the final quiz. You will need a 100% pass rate to be deemed competent.
