Safety is everyone’s concern. In an age of digitalisation change is a constant and with changing technology comes the need and opportunity to apply dynamic responses to safety solutions. This was what we took away from RISSB’s highly successful Rail Safety 2018 – which received the highest turn-out in recent memory with over 180 attendees.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) will convene its inaugural rail safety forum – RailSafe 2019 – at RISSB’s Rail Safety 2019 Conference. During a three-hour session, the ATSB will engage with the Australian rail industry on a range of safety-related issues towards improving transport safety. RailSafe 2019 represents a valuable opportunity for all invited delegates to learn lessons from a range of recent rail incidents and accidents investigations.
