Road users’ perspective on train horn sounds at railway crossings
What’s behind ACRI research? Very often its collection of data out in the field, in this case Dr Gregoire Larue and colleague from QUT conducting observations to measure how train horns sound in the field from a road user perspective.
After completing focus groups with train drivers on their use of the train horn at railway crossings in three different States around Australia, ACRI is now starting the next step of its investigation of train horn usage.
Final results are due late this year.
