Call for Development Group Members – Wheel and Rail Profile Development Guideline

The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) is seeking nominations from people to join a Development Group to review the Wheel and Rail Profile Development Guideline.

This publication:
• Provides good practice guidance on assessing wheel and rail profiles theoretically and in the field (in service); and
• Provides a change management process for developing, testing and implementing new wheel and/or rail profiles.

How to contribute
Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit nominations for subject matter experts to join this Development Group to contribute to the overall depth and quality of this document.

Development Group membership is voluntary and requires the support of your organisation to attend and contribute. There will be 4 meetings held between January 2021 and September 2021. These will be planned as teleconferences, however this may change depending on lifting of travel restrictions.
