Call for Development Group Members – AS 7642 Turnouts And Other Special Trackwork
The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) is seeking nominations from people to join a Development Group to review AS 7642 Turnouts And Other Special Trackwork.
The Standard provides the Australian rail industry with a set of mandatory and recommended requirements for the general management, design, supply, installation, maintenance, disposal and decommissioning of turnouts and other special trackwork, in order to promote a consistent treatment.
How to contribute
Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit nominations for subject matter experts to join this Development Group to contribute to the overall depth and quality of the Standard.
Development Group membership is voluntary and requires the support of your organisation to attend and contribute. There will be 4 meetings held between March 2021 and September 2021. These will be planned as teleconferences; however, this may change depending on lifting of travel restrictions.
