Call for Development Group Members – Code of Practice Management of Network Control Officers
The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board is seeking nominations from people to join a Development Group to develop a new Australian Code of Practice covering the management of network control officers.
The objective of this Standard is to provide rail infrastructure managers (RIMS) a performance and risk-based set of criteria that will assist them in training network control officers and provide guidance on how to maintain their knowledge base.
This Code will also assist RIMs in meeting the requirements of TLI40921 – Certificate IV in Rail Network Control.
The scope of this Code includes:
• Areas to be trained in
• Assessment methods
• Trainer and mentor requirements
• Network rules and procedures
• Board based assessments
