Recall for Development Group Members for two products, Infrastructure Track Stability Code of Practice and Guideline For CWR Management.
RISSB Code Of Practice for Track Stability
The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board is seeking nominations from people to join a Development Group to develop the CoP for Track Stability and Guideline for CWR management.
These products will provide supporting document to the RISSB Track Stability Standard.
The Track Stability standard describes the requirements for managing the stability of tracks within Australia. The standard addresses the key hazards of collisions and derailments. The Code will examine ways in which to achieve the standard. The Guideline will provide a good practice model for the industry.
How to Contribute
Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit nominations for subject matter experts to join the Development Group to contribute to the overall depth and quality of the document.
Development Group membership is voluntary and requires the support of your employer organisation to attend and contribute. Attendance can be via teleconferencing, with attendance at around a max of 4 meetings per year over the development of the standard.
Further information on the responsibilities of a Development Group member can be obtained from the RISSB website. Development Group documentation will also be sent out to all nominees.
