STANLEY Infrastructure, RailPod Form Alliance

RailPod vehicles can measure track geometry, rail wear, bridge and tunnel clearances, and catenary; detect rail flaws; and provide asset mapping for passenger, freight and transit systems.

The partnership “to support the global deployment of RailPod’s track inspection technology and related services will help us bring infrastructure owners and managers the ability to more precisely determine where capital dollars need to be spent,” said Brendan English, CEO of RailPod, which provides both hardware and software for the collection, processing and management of rail and infrastructure data.

“RailPod’s data-driven solutions perfectly align with our mission to provide the most advanced technology for our customers to boost their productivity and profitability,” said Doug Redpath, president of STANLEY Infrastructure, a division of Stanley Black & Decker. “We are thrilled with this partnership and excited to get these solutions into the hands of our customers across the globe.”
