AS 7472 Railway Operations – Management of Change provides RTOs with a structured approach for managing, evaluating and implementing change within a railway operating environment.

About

As part of this review, the Development Group examined and addressed the regulatory requirements for managing change under the rail safety national law including formal notifications. The review also looked at methods for scaling change to ensure that the right level of support is provided to manage risks to SFAIRP, as well as guidelines for:

  • conducting a change impact assessment to determine the level of impact to people, systems and the organisational structure
  • ensuring a systematic approach is applied when managing each phase of the management of change lifecycle.
