2019 / 20 Work Plan Development
The Rail Industry and Safety Standards Board (RISSB) works to develop and deliver a suite of products and services which benefit our funding members and the wider rail community. The first step in developing our work plan for the coming yearis the priority planning forum -our annual invitation to industry stakeholders to help us determine which proposed products will have the biggest positive impact on the rail industry, and which should receive RISSB development priority.
Ideas for new products are put forward through a formal call for submissions process that is open to anyone with an interest in the rail industry, including rail industry professionals, industry, government representatives and the broader community. Once all new product development proposals have been received, we make them publicly available on our website and invite everyone to download and peruse them during an information period. Two weeks later individuals and organisations are provided the opportunity to rank each proposal based on what they believe is a priority for industry.
The initial two-week information period will begin on March 4, with the two-week ranking period due to commence on March 18 and end on March 31.
If you would like guidance on what information to include in the form, please download our completing the RISSB product proposal and prioritisation form guide.PPF Project Summary
