RISSB Membership Hits Another Milestone
This week we reached another milestone with RISSB member numbers passing 120. As of today, RISSB's members tally is now 121. This represents a remarkable 55% increase since the beginning of the year.
Human Factors Managers Group Reaches Out To Consulting Firms
The
Human Factors Managers Group (HFMG) reached out to select HF consulting firms recently in regard to a project on HF requirements, and to offer further engagement opportunities. The HFMG has now been operating for over 2 years and has a wide representation from industry. ONRSR present regularly to the HFMG meetings on their initiatives in the HF space.
CQU through A/Prof Anjum Naweed has drafted proposed final pro-formas for SPAD and LRTAE investigations.
A final meeting with the heavy rail sector and separately with the light rail sector in mid-August will fine tune the final pro-formas for publication by RISSB.
Not all organisations have the resources to carry out a detailed quantitative risk analysis due to the inherent cost and complexity.
