This document describes requirements for the portable emergency equipment that shall be carried by Infrastructure Maintenance Rolling Stock vehicles.
The main purpose of the requirements is to:
- Define the types of portable emergency equipment to be carried by Infrastructure Maintenance Rolling Stock vehicles.
- Define the requirements for emergency equipment (where applicable).
- Define quantities of emergency equipment.
- Define the documentation that shall be carried relating to emergency equipment.
- Define maintenance requirements for the emergency equipment.
