2017 RISSB Rail Safety ConferenceThe 17th annual RISSB Rail Safety Conference is set to take place in Brisbane this April. Examining the central theme, ‘Enhancing Safety through Collaboration’, attendees will hear case studies and best practice insights from industry experts and safety professionals from across the Australia ensuring take away solutions for anyone in the transport space. The 2-day program will include industry safety insights from RISSB, ONRSR, the ARA, TrackSAFE Foundation, and the ACRI
and feature case studies from Metro Trains Melbourne, TasRAIL and Sydney Trains on implementation of their safety strategies. Returning in 2017, the ‘Ask the Regulator’ Panel will again give attendees the opportunity to engage directly with the executive team from ONRSR. For rail safety in Australia to move forward we need to continue to collaborate to ensure a safer industry for all.
