AS 7533 Driving Cabs has been published and is available to download from RISSB's website.
This document applies to the design of new locomotives, passenger, and infrastructure maintenance rolling stock and takes into consideration the importance of a structured approach to
human factors integration through the application of appropriate knowledge, processes, and techniques, in order to enhance both safety and overall system performance.
Our next members only onboarding webinar will be held on Wednesday, 2 February 2022.
Hosted by Jesse Baker and Graham Jackson, attendees will be taken on a walkthrough/talk through of our website and we'll introduce the full suite of tools (Australian Standards and other industry leading publications) available to download and use. If you are an employee of a RISSB member, and you would like to register to attend this event, please 'Register Now.'
Thank you to everyone who put forward an abstract just before Christmas. We're currently assessing all submissions and will be in touch in the next couple of weeks to confirm whether or not you have a speaking spot.
