RISSB Hosts South African Regulator
This week RISSB hosted senior representatives from the South African Rail Safety Regulator's office (RSR) who came on a fact finding mission to support their project to develop a risk model similar to RISSB's ARRM.
We've had an action packed week speaking to Aurizon, Queensland Rail, ONRSR, RGB (who built ARRM) as well as joining the Horizons group for their Brisbane event.
It's been fantastic to strengthen ties with our South African colleagues and one day we look forward to be able to share risk information for the mutual benefit of both our railways.
Thank you to those who have contributed to this tremendous knowledge sharing experience.
Both courses are filling up fast with only one or two seats remaining in each. For more information about the courses and to
secure a spot, email email@example.com.
Foundational Safety Courses Available 24/7
Access short, online courses all year round from Learning Express on RISSB's website. We offer four courses addressing topics such as rail safety, risk management, rail safety workers obligations and critical communications.
Our next members only webinar will be held on Wednesday, 8 June. If you've recently joined RISSB and would like to learn how to get maximum value from your membership, then this is for you.
Go on a walkthrough/talk through of our website and we'll introduce the full suite of tools (Australian Standards and other
industry leading publications) available to download and use. Find out more about the Australian Rail Risk Model and what courses and events are coming up.
