RISSB's Annual Report 2019 / 2020 Now Available
Torrens Connect operates 24 tram sets, over 200 buses and employs more than 250 staff members, delivering world class tram and bus services across Adelaide. During next week's webinar, Torrens Connect's General Manager, Magda Robertson, will be discussing how rail and road traffic interact, how COVID-19 restrictions have affected driver behaviour, what Torrens Connect is doing to help retrain road user and how the organisation is driving behavioural change through a number of safety initiatives.

As of Thursday, 12 November our Brisbane team is located at Level 6, 200 Creek Street in Spring Hill (near Brisbane's CBD). The office is located just 160 metres from RISSB's previous 15 Astor Terrace address which many of you have visited.

In the current COVID-19 environment and with the gradual easing of travel restrictions, RISSB has continued its commitment to safety and has decided to hold its AGM remotely rather than in person this year.
RISSB’s AGM will be held on Monday, 30 November 2020, via videoconference at 2:30pm AEST. Members may attend the virtual meeting via a computer or tablet using the meeting link provided by email.

AS 7642 Turnouts and Special Trackworks
This Standard developed in 2013, provides the Australian rail industry with a set of mandatory requirements for the general management, design, supply, installation, maintenance, disposal and decommissioning of turnouts and other special trackwork, in order to promote a consistent treatment. This document will undergo a formal review to ensure currency.
